Andrew Zimmerman Jones did a review of LORDS OF WATERDEEP for us in March, and he agreed with you. He said “Of all of the fantasy board games I’ve ever forced my wife to play for review purposes (or any other purpose for that matter), this is by far her favorite.”

My wife and I have had a lot of fun with Lords of Waterdeep. There are a lot of options and strategies, and the game immerses you in the intrigue of the environment if you invest in it. One problem…I have yet to beat her.
