Thank James — I try never to lose sight of the fun of all this, even with self-imposed review deadlines and the like that sometimes get me wondering just why I bother, I’m still having a blast. I’d venture to say I’m having more fun now with fantasy and science fiction than ever before, because reviewing and writing about books is a great way to share in the enjoyment of fiction.

A great first post. I like the point about fun, especially: hedonism is underrated as a motive for reading (for literary fiction, too).
